The study permit issued enables foreign nationals to study at designated learning institutions (DLIs) in Canada.

Most foreign nationals require a study permit to study in Canada, so ensure you have all necessary documents before submitting your application.

It is advisable to apply for the study permit before traveling to Canada.

Remember, a study permit is not a visa and does not grant entry into Canada.

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a necessary document for Canadian employers intending to hire foreign workers. A positive LMIA indicates the need for a foreign worker to fill a specific job role, demonstrating the unavailability of Canadian workers or permanent residents for the position. It is also known as a confirmation letter.
